Continuing a multi-year tradition, Tallahassee PRIDEFEST 2014 brings a host of opportunities to celebrate our community and Feel the Love! From art events to drag performances, faith-based services to cultural celebrations, and the premiere event, Pride in the Plaza, there is truly something for everyone!

Equality Florida Tallahassee Gala
A Night of Southern Elegance
Friday, April 12th

Join Equality Florida for a “Night of Southern Elegance” at this wonderful event with open bar, delicious hors d’oeuvres and an exciting program – including a “State of the State” address by Equality Florida’s executive director, Nadine Smith.
3rd Annual Miss Tallahassee PRIDEFEST Pageant

Ever been to a drag pageant? Here’s your chance! Watch as some of the area’s best drag queens compete to become Miss Tallahassee PRIDEFEST 2013! The pageant will be hosted by Cha Cha Amore and Eboni Starr and will feature Miss Tallahassee PRIDEFEST 2012, Mya Chanel Lamour, and Miss Tallahassee PRIDEFEST 2011, Nina Chancellor! $5 cover charge, 18+ event.

In Tallahassee, we are blessed to have many open, affirming and welcoming faith groups. Celebrate Pride in Faith is a non-denominational interfaith service, celebrating each of those faith groups. A reception will follow the service. This is a free event.
Literary Night and Art Show & Sale
Wednesday, April 17th
6:00 – 9:00pm
The Family Tree, 2415 North Monroe Street (in the Tallahassee Mall)
We don’t have to tell you this area has some incredibly talented artists! Join us for a night dedicated to those artists. Several local authors will read their original, published works and you’ll also be able to view paintings and other media produced by local and regional visual artists. Some of the arts and books will be available for purchase. This is a free event.
An Evening to Honor Supportive Businesses and Organizations

Krewe de Gras Midtown Tavern, 1304 North Monroe Street
It goes without saying that there are many LGBT owned and friendly businesses in Tallahassee. Tonight, we honor and support them! Join us at one of them, Krewe de Gras, for some snacks, a few drinks and a night to raise a glass to those that support us! This is a free event.
A Tribute to Talented Women
Friday, April 19th
8:00pm – 2:00am
The Warehouse, 706 W. Gaines Street
This year’s celebration of women includes a reception, 50/50 drawing, and a chance to do some “speed friending”, followed by a night of great entertainment. The event is designed to help you get to know other women in the local community. The event features DJ Amanda James and an assortment of talented entertainers. $5 cover charge, 18+ event.
The Premiere Event of Tallahassee PRIDEFEST
Saturday, April 20th
12:00 noon – 6:00pm
Kleman Plaza in Downtown Tallahassee
This is it – the culmination of a week of events! Held in Kleman Plaza, Pride in the Plaza brings a massive rainbow presence to downtown Tallahassee. The event includes food, dozens of local and regional businesses and community groups providing information, selling unique items, and making sure you have an all-around fun time. Don’t miss the live DJ and entertainment on the main stage throughout the day.
This kid-friendly event includes a Kids Zone featuring face painting, animals to see and pet (and adopt!), and lots of other activities, big and small alike, including a bounce house! This is a free event.
The Fun Doesn’t Stop When the Sun Goes Down
Saturday, April 20th
Mockingbird Cafe, 1225 North Monroe Street
After dark, Pride gets more adult-oriented. The music gets louder, faster, and you better be ready for some dancing, drag performers, and FUN! $5 cover charge, 18+ event.
